Week 7

Allright peeps! I’ve reached Week 7! No weight loss this week, but it’s also my time to retain water like a camel anyways, so I’m not surprised. I got my hair done, and had my first major Non Scale Victory. Read on…

I’ve FINALLY done it! I’ve reached the point where I can no longer shop in the “plus size section” of stores!!!!!!!!!!!!   I’ve been wearing my same clothes as I wore preop, and at that point, I was about to burst out of my size 16’s and 1X shirts. It was to the point where I couldn’t wear my pants without these indentation marks all over my tummy, and feeling like I was going to pass out if I ate anything more because my circulation was damn near cut off. My shirts were tight as hell too, and unflattering as all get out.

Flash forward 7 weeks, My pants are FALLING off of me, and resembling MC Hammer pants circa 1990 with all the extra baggy room, and my shirts are just not flattering at all because they resemble maternity shirts because of how stretched out they are in the belly. I go into the store, and buy 5 shirts off the Juniors rack, size XL, and they fit GREAT!
New pants are size 14’s, and fit like perfection!! I was SOOOO elated!!! I can’t believe how much this sleeve has changed the way I feel about myself in such a short time!!! Whooooo Hoooo!!!!

Updates!

Hey everyone! I’ve havent posted in awhile. Once recovery time was over, life got back into full swing. I’m working full time, taking classes, going to the gym, had family visiting, had crazy work drama (that’s over now though) and just been going like the Energizer bunny on a half empty charge lol. I have a few things that are new. First off, my 5 Week update pic:

Yes I was driving, but I was at a stop sign when I took this! I’m down 29.9 pounds now! Probably an even thirty after the crazy workout I just did 🙂

 

I’m on mushie/soft foods phase of eating now. MUCH improvement over the pureed phase. I have SO many more options now! In fact, I’d like to share one with you right now that I just discovered tonight…

I had this tonight, and I threw in some bits of Rotisserie chicken, and it’s so yummy, AND its practically the perfect portion! I ate half, and will have the other half for lunch tomorrow. I’ve been having Watermelon for breakfast, and it’s fantastic! Also, I have found THE BEST EVER protein smoothie! There is a coffee bar at the hospital I work at, and the guy let me buy his product. It can be bought on Amazon too. The magic bullet is GREAT for this smoothie. Here’s the recipe and products:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SUPER AWESOME MOCHA PROTEIN SMOOTHIE:

1 Scoop of LowCarb Iced Mocha Mix

1 Scoop EAS Protein Powder (Bought at Sams Club)

4-6 oz 1% or 2% milk

Ice

I have one to two of these a day, and always end up either meeting or exceeding my protein goal for the day. Plus they are just flat out delicious!!!
